Vertical Drier Screw Conveyor Selection:

1, the Application scope and characteristics (1) spiral conveyor is a kind of conveying equipment widely used in chemical industry, building materials, Vertical Drier food and other departments, mainly for conveying powdery, granular and small bulk materials.  It is not suitable for conveying perishable, viscous and caking materials.  (2) The ambient temperature used by the screw conveyor is-20; the inclination of the conveyor is 20 °, and the conveying length is generally less than 40m, the longest not exceeding 70m. (3) Spiral conveyor compared with other conveying equipment, has the advantages of simple structure, small cross-section size, good sealing performance, multi-point charging and unloading, safe and convenient operation and low manufacturing cost. Its disadvantage is that the mechanical wear is more serious, transport low, consumption of power and materials in the transportation process is easy to be broken.

2, classification and structural features (1) spiral conveyor blades have solid spiral face, with spiral type and blade spiral face three kinds. The solid spiral surface is called the S-system method, its helical pitch is 0.8 times times the diameter of the blade, and the LS screw conveyor is suitable for conveying powdery and granular materials. The belt spiral surface is also known as the D system method, its spiral pitch is the same as the diameter of the spiral blade, which is suitable for conveying powdery and small material.
